5 Tips for online Shopping

I love online shopping. It is incredibly useful and makes for a good time!! I love finding new items and styles and adding them to my cart with the click of a button. I want to share with you a few things that have helped my online shopping experience gain better results. 

1. Keep an open mind.

With online shopping endless possibilities are at your fingertips! There are so many options, ideas, and new trends. One click can lead to another click which then leads to another. Each click can lead to a new idea, a new look, and new inspiration. I look for these new ideas (these clicks). 

2. Give it time. 

I usually don’t purchase the same day I add items to my cart. I find what I like and put it in my cart for later. I do this for a number of reasons. 

One: I like to come back to it after a bit of time and see if I like it as much as I did when I first found it. 

Two: This helps me to not spend money too soon. 

Three: This one is definitely a bonus. If I don’t need or want an item right away, I can leave it in my cart or save it for later. Then I will keep an eye on it as some items will go on sale later. Note: I don’t think this has anything to do with it being in the cart. 

3. Use filters.

Filters really help when trying to find that one type of shirt, dress, or shoes. They narrow down the options and help save time since you're not searching through items you're not actually looking for.

4. Use keywords in the search bar.

Find something on Pinterest you really like? I have found that paying attention to the descriptive words used on these posts really helps to find similar products in other places. It’s very similar to using filters but more specific or direct sometimes. 

5. Read the description plus the reviews. 

Read the product description and previous customer reviews if they are available. In addition to the product description, reading reviews helps me better grasp the item I am interested in. But at the end of the day I make up my own mind based on the knowledge I have attained. 

Online shopping is fun and highly convenient. It’s easy and full of endless options and styles. I can shop from my phone while I’m on the go or make an evening of it at home while drinking tea and watching my favorite show. Using these methods has helped me make an already efficient experience even more efficient with better results. I hope they help you too!
